About John David Ross Jr., fractional CMO in New Orleans

I find the constraint nobody can see from inside, then own the plan to fix it.

I'm a growth and brand strategist in New Orleans with 25 years of building profitable, high performing businesses. I run JDR Growth Advisory, a fractional CMO practice for CEOs, founders and investors, with a focus on energy and growth stage companies.

Where I've done the work

At PosiGen, a solar company, I was the first marketing leader on the executive team. The role grew into General Manager of Sales & Marketing, leading a 150 person sales organization while the company scaled to about $375 million in national sales.

At PepsiCo, I held roles from digital marketing manager to Chief of Staff in the Office of the CMO and Global Director of Customer Partnerships. I worked on innovation planning, partnership data strategy and portfolio plans presented to the CEO and the Board.
